I wrote this with a few things in mind. How to make a rap where very few end words rhyme. The scheme is internal and plays more on rhythm than rhyme scheme. None of this is ABAB or AABB.. It directs the listener to be a bit more flexible and follow the words and music more than the actual rhyme pattern. I extend, truncate and redirect the words that connect but the pattern of delivery remains relatively constant. fun and games.

Tripped down a path i never been,
fell on my face,
got up
dusted myself off
said thanks
sounds drift
close to the note and staff
hell hath no fury lest a woman scorn
from the second i was born
find myself out of place
lost in inner-space
awaiting the awakening
never sleep
but the dreams
that i live
are the canvass for the backdrop of the day
welcome back
so far to go to reach the pinnacle and take the title
rivals stifled as my art of war
burn the oars
no going back
lines are crossed
whats the cost of making one final stand
Im a man without a plan standing alone
