I produced this track with a few things in mind.
1. I was using some vocal samples from Fight Club. The movie is problematic in its presentation of white maleness and the approach to social malevolence as response to repression. Is this type of film the seedbed for the incel movement? I do appreciate some themes of nihilism and the reality of contemporary anomie .. we are watching the white male structure crumble .. and how people are not adjusting, adapting and evolving. Does God like us? Are we chosen.. chosen to suffer? What is the purpose of life.. i love this question.
Musically, i wanted to use female singer/vocal samples, muted strings, piano, and drums that are light. The snare is not popping.. its subtle. There is a lot of low end - not really in notes but in texture. Would you rap to this or sing or.. is it just an instrumental?
